Vanilla Granola (Allergy Friendly)

Ingredients (use organic, gluten free ingredients if possible)

  • 5 Cups Old Fashioned rolled Oats
  • 3/4 cup raw sunflower seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • pinch sea salt
  • 1/2 cup pure maple syrup
  • 1/4 melted coconut oil
  • 1 Tablespoon vanilla extract

Preparation:

Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.

Mix the oats, sunflower seeds, cinnamon and sea salt in a large bowl. In another bowl, mix the syrup and coconut oil – whisk in the vanilla extract. Pour liquid over the oats and stir until all oats are moist.

Spread onto the baking sheet and bake for 45 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes. Allow granola to cool completely so it can get crunchy – then place in an air-tight container at room temp. ENJOY!
