Smoothie Ideas – A quick boost of optimal nutrition

Smoothies can be a great way to get great nutrients in something that’s quick and easy to take on-the-go. I love throwing together a bunch of healthy ingredients and seeing how it turns out. Smoothies are great for an afternoon pick me up (much better than that sugar-filled snack, coffee or soda many people reach for). It will give you a boost without the dreaded crash. I created a “menu” of items that are good to throw together when creating a smoothie. Simply pick one item from each category, blend together, and voila! You have a healthy option you can take with you anywhere! Happy Blending!

    Pick a leafy green:

    • 2 Cups Romaine
    • 2 Cups Spinach
    • 1 Cup Kale
  • Pick a Fruit
    • 2 Cups Berries
    • 1 Banana
    • 2 Oranges
    • 2 Cups Mango
    • 2 Cups Pineapple
  • Pick an herb (small handful)
    • Cilantro
    • Basil
    • Arugula
    • Parsley
    • Mint
  • Pick a Superfood Boost
    • Turmeric (1 tsp)
    • Maca (1 TBSP)
    • Chia Seeds (1 TBSP)
    • Raw Cacao Powder (1 tsp)
  • Blend with 1 Cup of Liquid
    • Nut/Non-dairy milk
    • Coconut water
    • Water
